14 UK Black-owned businesses to shop from

Around 4 or 5 years ago I started making more of an effort to shop from Black-owned brands. In the beginning it was quite a challenge as the majority of my research led me to Black-owned American brands but I wanted to find ones in the UK.

However, I was able to find quite a few hair brands. I then switched over from getting my hair products from ‘the hair shop in town’ to online black owned brands like Bourn Beautiful Naturals and Almocado.

Overtime, I’ve discovered more and more Black-owned brands, something that has gotten easier since I purchased my first Jamii card last year.
